Jarrett B. Perlow, Piano & Trombone
Jarrett B. Perlow currently teaches piano and trombone and has been at the Sitar
Center since 2005. Previously, Jarrett played tuba with the American University
Symphony Orchestra and twice served as musical director for his law school's annual
spring revue. Before moving to D.C., Jarrett competed at regional and state competitions
on tuba and trombone and was selected for two years in a row to represent his
high school at the Florida All-State Band, which is comprised of the top high
school musicians in the state. Most recently, Jarrett was the pianist and an instrumental
music director for the Sitar Center's 2005 production of The Wiz and
the pianist and music director for the 2006 production of Once Upon A Mattress.
In his spare time, Jarrett is an attorney with the federal courthouse in Virginia
and performs locally with the band, Year of the Dog.
