Sitar’s Saints Band Performed on the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage Comprised of Sitar Arts Center’s talented young musicians, the group performed several selections in a concert for the Music National Service Initiative, a new social enterprise dedicated to supporting and expanding the use of music as a strategy to address important civic and social goals. The Saints Band, which has performed in venues all over Washington, DC, performed alongside members of Congress and were accompanied by Josh and Cora Dunham, the husband & wife rhythm section for Grammy award winner Prince in a program hosted by the Center for American Progress.
