Leah started playing piano when she was 6, stopped taking lessons at 12 to switch over to the drums, and started back up again when she moved with my family to an apartment in Tokyo, where a piano was a much more neighborly instrument. Things that she likes to do in addition to playing the piano are biking and hiking, making bread, watching British murder mysteries, eating crisp apples, and being outside in the fresh air and sunshine if at all possible (ideally in the mountains somewhere).
