To register for classes at Sitar Arts Center, students must:

• Live in Washington, DC
• Make a registration appointment by calling 202-797-2145

All students must bring the following to their registration appointments:

• A parent or guardian
• Most recent school report card
• $15 registration fee (all other fees, if any, will be assessed at the time of registration)

Students may not register if:

• A recent report card is not provided
• The student has an outstanding balance from a previous semester

Please Note:

Students must call Sitar Arts Center at 202-797-2145 to make a registration appointment before each semester. Due to space restrictions and our mission, priority is given to returning students, students living in Adams Morgan, Mt. Pleasant, and Columbia Heights and students from families earning less than 50% of the Greater Washington area's median income. Others may be placed on a waiting list for classes upon registration.

Returning students, not including those enrolled during summer classes, receive first priority for classroom spaces and private lessons. The first week of registration is reserved for returning students. New students may begin to register during the second week of registration.

Any student / family with concerns about tuition can discuss the possibility of a payment plan when registering. No student will be turned away because of inability to pay.
