A. Lorraine Robinson
Lorraine leads all artistic design and development of artistic programming ensuring Sitar’s curriculum standards are of the highest level. This includes development, managing and deepening Sitar’s artistic and community-based partnerships. Since joining the staff in 2004, she has been instrumental in inaugurating and directing Sitar’s annual summer, youth led musical production, growing Sitar’s multi-disciplinary arts curriculum, leading program evaluation efforts, and engaging Sitar alumni. She has a BA in psychology and theatre from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and a MA in Theatre from Brown University. In 2017, 2018 and 2019, Lorraine was recognized with an Excellence in Theatre Education Honorable Mention Award as part of the Tony® Awards.
