Sitar Arts Center Recognized with 7News Helping Hands Award
Sitar Arts Center has been honored with the 7News Helping Hands Award, a recognition given to organizations making a significant impact in their communities. As part of this acknowledgment, Easterns Automotive Group presented a donation to support Sitar’s mission of providing accessible, high-quality arts education for young people in Washington, D.C.
During a recent visit, 7News reporter Kelly Lynn witnessed the Center’s impact firsthand and presented the Helping Hands Award along with Easterns Automotive Group’s donation to help further Sitar’s programs and student initiatives.
“You’re making such a difference in a community—we thought it would be a great idea to give you and your organization a ‘helping hand,’” said Lynn. “Today, it’s my privilege to give you this check in the amount of $1,100 from Easterns Automotive Group.”
