How to Rent A Space at Sitar Arts Center

Rental Availability
Our rental times vary by space but are most available outside of Sitar’s core programming hours.
Weekday Rentals
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Additional hours may be available during seasonal breaks
Weeknight Rentals
- Monday–Thursday: After 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: After 6:00 p.m
Weekend Rentals
- Saturday: After 12 p.m.
- Sunday: Based on availability
Note: All events must end by 11:00 p.m. on weeknights and midnight on weekends.

Weekday Daytime Discount:
Rentals between 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. receive 15% off the standard rate.

- Long-term rentals (5+ bookings)

- Strategic or mission-aligned partnerships that further Sitar’s commitment to arts and education.
Rental Policies and Fees
To ensure a seamless and successful rental experience for all, please review our key policies:
- Deposit: A 25% deposit is due upon signing to secure your rental reservation.
- Rental Time: Your contracted rental time includes both setup and breakdown. Exceeding contracted time will incur a charge of 1.1x the standard hourly rate.
- Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least three business days prior to your event.
- Insurance: Renters are required to provide proof of $1 million in general liability insurance, naming Sitar Arts Center as additionally insured.
Cancellations Fees:
- 24–48 hours’ notice: 25% of the total rental fee.
- Less than 24 hours’ notice: 50% of the total rental fee.
