Sitar Recognized As “One of the Best”
Sitar Arts Center is proud to be selected for the the 2015-2016 Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington as “One of the Best” community-based nonprofits in the region. Sitar underwent a rigorous evaluation and financial review process. and is truly honored to be in the Catalogue, which is widely recognized in the DC region as the “good housekeeping seal of approval” for community-based nonprofits. Sitar has been a member of the Catalogue family since 2003. This honor and affirmation of our work is very meaningful to us as we continue to advance the critical life skills of underserved children and youth and prepare them for achievement in the 21st century through visual, performing, and digital arts education in a nurturing community.
