Young Expressionists – Current 4th to 8th
Young Expressionists offers full day options, with half day spaces available in the morning, for students 4th—8th grade enrolled in the afternoon Musical Theater program only. The morning spaces are limited and available on a first come first serve basis. Students in Young Expressionists experience arts classes on a deeper level. Arts classes are taught for an hour and ten minutes and students have four classes throughout the day. Students rotate individually between classes, based on their schedule and may have repetitive class disciplines. Before lunch students can socialize with friends during “Hang Outs” and make choices each day how they would like to spend their time; Jam Session, Reading Lounge, Art Studio or Outside with Friends.
At the end of each two week session, students have the opportunity to exhibit or perform what they have learned. Students 12 and older, registered for this program, can sign up for the Summer Musical Theater Workshop from 4:15 – 6:15, for a discounted cost.
