deLaski Theater

Sitar’s premier performance venue, the deLaski Theater, is suitable for music, dance, and theatrical productions, as well as film screenings, speaker presentations, and conferences. Handicap accessible. Can be used as a recording studio.

Use of the theater requires public liability insurance, which can be purchased for specific events from Cooley and Darling Insurance Agency. There is a three-hour minimum for use of the deLaski Theater. Rates for ongoing rentals are negotiable.

Seating Capacity: 100
Stage Dimensions: 12′ x 25′ x 8′
Backstage: Bathroom with shower, mirrors, changing area
Equipment: Drop-down screen, projector with input panels backstage and in sound booth, Ghost Soundcraft mixer, programmable light board, stage and spot lights, podium, 4 lapel microphones, one handheld wireless microphone, other non-wireless microphones available, and Steinway B grand piano.

Note:

  • All events must end by 11:00 pm on weeknights and midnight on weekends.
  • Fees are subject to change at the discretion of Sitar Arts Center staff.
