Participating in the musical is a unique and incredibly rewarding experience that takes dedication and hard-work. Students must be entering 5th to 12th grade.
Students are required to attend all daily rehearsals for six weeks and all performances, which are on a Thursday evening, Friday evening, Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. Musical Program students who have 2 or more consecutive unexcused absences or miss a final dress rehearsal will lose their place in the final performances.
During the summer, musical students will also participate in a number of field trips and activities, such as field trips to The Corcoran Museum of Art and the National Arboretum or a scavenger hunts or field day. Musical students may also opt to participate in the Teen Summer Arts Intensive.
