Korina Isler (any pronouns, respectfully), is an authentic leader with an unrelenting passion for creating equitable experiences in the arts. Korina’s belief in centering youth motivates her to design programming that is wholly inclusive before the first student arrives. At Sitar Arts Center in Washington, DC, Korina works as the Associate Director of Creative Career Programs where she designs and manages the Bloomberg Arts Internship.
Within their role at Sitar, Korina brings in experience from early education, customer service, workforce design, and grant management. Korina firmly believes that when we remove a person’s access to the arts, we risk removing their access to knowing themselves; therefore, reducing their ability to fully contribute to society.
Artistically, Korina is a working visual artist with a focus on creating ceramics and mixed media artwork that soothes some unearthed part of self.
Korina earned her a Bachelor’s Degree in English from Spelman College. She is certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid and recently presented at the Association of Arts Administration Educators 2026 conference, Wicked Good Approaches: The Future of Arts Administration.
