Nickole Best

Nickole Best serves the Sitar community as Senior Coordinator of Artistic Advancement. In this role she works to ensure Sitar’s talented alumni are prepared to achieve their professional, academic, and personal goals. Before working at Sitar, Nickole worked to build capacity in young people to be champions of justice and builders of unity through the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program. For the past 10 years she has helped nurture their talents and skills to contribute to their local communities. She is a singer and musician who has had experience bringing community together through music. Nickole is excited to combine her passion for youth education and her enthusiasm for the arts in her role at Sitar. She holds a BA in Anthropology from the University of Arizona.
